Experience Matters When Your Business Is on the Line

A Top-10 Fragrance house who underwent back-to-back years of explosive growth was in desperate need to expand production capacity in very tight quarters. The project had been delayed for years for fear of disrupting existing business needs. Enter iniTECH, where Engineers created a plan for a fully automated mixing multi-tank skid. By building the skid off-site and the customer vetting it at the remote manufacturing location, iniTECH Engineers and partners installed and retested the automated multi-tank skid over a three-day week-end. This resulted in no disruption to regular production activities. Effectively, personnel went home for the holiday week-end returning to a fully functional automated multi-tank skid, thereby multiplying capacity and throughput.

Our History

The Start

When iniTECH was founded over 25 years ago, we knew we couldn’t provide every solution for every customer in every market. Instead, we chose to differentiate ourselves by focusing exclusively on providing the best solutions to a uniquely challenging and underserved Flavor and Fragrance market. This hyper focus generated over $100M in savings for our F&F customers. At the core of that success is the BatchMetrics MES.

Evolution

BatchMetrics is a world-class MES system that was initially designed for the food, flavor and fragrance industries. Over many years, it has been tirelessly improved to ensure it is customizable to fit clients’ in-house programs or individual needs. BatchMetrics is the brain of the shop floor – a global connector that links every on-site system, interlocks compliance and automates work processes that typically require operator activity. Through hundreds of BatchMetrics and automation implementations, iniTECH developed an intimate understanding of the bottlenecks associated with larger batch manufacturing space, which allowed us to expand both the solutions we offered and to markets we served.

Process and Site Design

Our intimate understanding of the systematic and operational processes of a shop floor enables us to provide best in class designs for batch manufacturing facilities everywhere. Utilizing proprietary algorithms that have been developed over the last quarter century, iniTECH thoroughly analyzes production data to provide deep insight into process inefficiencies. We apply our lean-centric manufacturing philosophy to both existing manufacturing processes and brand new design-build projects.

Custom Builds

Henry Ford once said, “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” At iniTECH we never shy away from a solution just because it hasn’t been done before. We have implemented over 350 solutions across 5 continents. The experience we earn from these projects enables us to identify persistent pain points common throughout our partners’  manufacturing processes. This drives our engineering team to provide new solutions, from our fleet of Mobile Carts to hazardous area C1D1/C1D2 tools and more.

iniTECH Today

Today iniTECH is a batch manufacturing industry leader, offering a far wider range of services to a far wider set of customers than was the case when we started a quarter century ago. Our hunger for cutting-edge research and new ideas drives us every day to improve every plant floor we touch. We are passionate about the batch manufacturing space, so please don’t hesitate to reach out regarding even your smallest process challenges or constraints. It’s what we do.

Grow your business with wise investments and consistent support.
